Ideation
The first strategy we have researched is identifying the key frictional factors and conducting competitor analysis, primarily for UI/UX changes to increase visibility and secondary research to get the insights of pain points faced by the users in the market.
User Research
User Research has been done to know the issues faced by the merchants / customers such that we can provide them with innovative solutions through our final product.
Information Architecture & Flows
Gathered the client requirements and firstly we have made an inventory in the form of an architecture then we enchanced it and were able to make user flows according to the users and their experience.
Wireframes
Low-fidelity wireframes were created to validate layouts for:
Customer home page Experience ,User Onboarding , Admin and Merchant Dashboards and many more.
These wireframes helped refine usability before moving to high-fidelity designs.

04. Technical Deep Dive
Timeline
Oct 2025 – Present
YMOR was engineered as a merchant-first digital ecosystem designed to bridge the gap between local businesses and digital offer publishing.
The platform was architected to eliminate the friction commonly found in traditional merchant portals. By prioritizing a "speed-to-market" philosophy, the system enables local vendors to transition from registration to live offer creation in under seven minutes. The technical focus was placed on creating a linear, low-friction environment that handles complex multi-outlet logistics and administrative moderation behind an intuitive, minimalist interface.

Technical Constraints
A primary challenge was reducing the "cognitive load" for non-technical users. To address this, the platform avoids complex multi-step wizards, instead utilizing progressive disclosure collecting business sub-categories and granular details only when absolutely necessary.
Rigid offer schemas were replaced with a flexible "Offer Highlight" model, allowing for natural language descriptions rather than forcing merchants into restrictive pre-defined categories. Furthermore, the system enforces high data integrity by requiring Google Maps-based location accuracy for all outlets and mandatory admin moderation for both accounts and listings to ensure platform trust and quality.
Stack Used
The frontend was developed using Next.js, React, and TypeScript, leveraging Tailwind CSS to build a highly responsive, component-driven UI that remains performant even on low-bandwidth mobile devices.
The backend infrastructure utilizes Supabase, providing a robust PostgreSQL relational database and Row-Level Security (RLS) to ensure strict data isolation between merchants. This serverless approach handles authentication via Email and Mobile OTP and manages the complex relational dependencies between merchants, multiple outlets, and moderated offers, ensuring the platform is both secure and horizontally scalable.

05. Performance
The budget we have was 5 lakh for running the ads, and the channels that we used to run ads are Google Search ads and Google Display ads., and keyword targeting
As the client has a strong ad campaign expertise, along with different local search intent, with the merchant acquisition keywords and deals, based on consumer search.
06. Result & Impact
- We have successfully implemented the platform for all local merchants for the local deals.
- Increase in brand credibility and trust with the merchant and adaptation along with the multiple categories.
- Traffic and engagement have increased by 120% with a low bounce rate of 35%. The average session duration with 48% and the pages per session increased by 32%.
